Kid's love art. They instantly use all their senses to create, construct, deconstruct, imagine, and explore. Art Life is a place to concentrate, grow, and develop artistic interests in a small, professional, non-competitive setting outside of home and school. We have designed classes to enrich your children's current art education, and because of our small class sizes we are able to focus on each child's individual art interests, Our mission is to encourage and develop the artistic interests of your child through fun exerises and projects.
using light and shadow...we learn to paint and draw using principles of perspective, value and shading, and then translating this into a couple paintings over this 2 day workshop. We will use oil and acrylic paints on canvas panels.
Art Adventure A variety of art materials, techniques, and imaginative projects will give your kids a great overall art experience. Focus will be on the fundamentals of art and having fun with two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums. Meets 2.5 hours a week for 6 weeks - Ages 7 & up
Paper and Clay Kids will play, learn, build, roll, pinch, and sculpt with this very kid-friendly material. Hand building techniques in coil, pinch, and slab will be used to create functional and fairly odd sculptures in clay. Meets for2 hours a week for 4 weeks - Ages 5 & 6
Large Animal Sculpture: Using recycled materials and found natural objects we will each create an animal sculpture base, paper and cloth machie, and paint our animals. Ages 8-12 meets for 2 days for 2 hours a day
This five day daily art camp is a total art experience for your kids. We will be working with three-dimensional and two-dimensional materials each day. Themes in fine art elements like line, shape, value, texture will be explored through creating animals, self-portraits, mobiles, birdhouses, and still life oil paintings. Outdoor play, time for snacks, and free play. Ages 5 and up from 10:00-2:00 daily. Monday-Friday
Just the Two of Us All AGES with parent A variety of awesome projects will be offered for this parent/child class. All materials included and projects will be able to be brought home that day* Projects change monthly - see our schedule for project of the month. Past project include paper sculptures, handprint animals, clay, and handmade drums * except clay -allow 1-2 weeks for drying and firing time. $8 and up- depending on project

Clay Handprint Workshops ALL AGES Capture your family's hands in clay. I will create clay impressions of everyone's hands in either a tile or a functional tray. $15-$50 depending on size and type of tile or tray Meets for one hour
