A large, open studio space that is full of light and nestled in the tree tops Large Community tables for kids allowing for freedom of movement and imagination. Making a mess is a necessity – At Art Life students can make messes and create in a way that a lot of parents wouldn't want to try at home. Warm up projects at the beginning of each class enable children to brainstorm and develop ideas before starting the project. Group projects offer at times allow students the chance to collaborate on a truly large scale and learn how to share and cooperate. Projects at Art Life can last several weeks, allowing the children time to add details as they get fully immersed in the artistic process. When children make art, they learn and practice fine and gross motor skills. But most of all they learn to play. They learn that the world of art is a place with no "rights and wrongs" and that builds a child up as they gain confidence in what they can create. ar
After-school Art Playdates After school, the time between dinner and "i've been in school all day and I'm feeling a little restless" Why not bring your kids to play at Art Life? Making open ended, no rules to follow art projects will help them unwind and play. Make art with your kids, connect with them. Bring a friend, or maybe it's family time? We will discover a variety of art materials and have you home in time for dinner. 3:15-4:15 by appointment. PRICES VARY (all supplies included) ALL AGES
Art Adventure A variety of art materials, techniques, and imaginative projects will give your kids a great overall art experience. Focus will be on the fundamentals of art and having fun with two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums.
Clay Play Kids will play, learn, build, roll, pinch, and sculpt with this very kid-friendly material. Handbuilding techniques in coil, pinch, and slab will be used to create functional and fairly odd sculptures in clay.
Art Camps - Summer and Spring This five day daily art camp is a total art experience for your kids. We will be working with three-dimensional and two-dimensional materials each day. Themes in fine art elements like line, shape, value, texture will be explored through creating animals, self-portraits, mobiles, birdhouses, and still life oil paintings. Outdoor play, time for snacks, and cooling off with with water games (weather permitting).
